Presumably, these young people love classical music."<br /><br />I'm so tired of the word "relevant". Classical music worries about it. Churches worry about it too. Sigh. <br /><br />I say we should just do what we do and do it well. It'll last if it's worthy of lasting! :-)<br /><br />The one thing I would ask about all of these younger - and very good! - musicians ... do they attend concerts? Some of my students don't go to concerts at all. And yet they want to make a career in music. That does puzzle me a bit.<br /><br />But yes ... I love what you wrote.
